Solar Eclipse in Aquarius 2026. Evolutions.

Impatience. Pressure. Irritation.

We have a solar eclipse (aka a new moon near a lunar node) at 28° Aquarius on February 17, 2026 at 4:01am Pacific Standard Time (UTC -8). Aquarius is the sign of visionary change, rooted in humanism, and the new moon here is creating a sense of collective urgency. Of course, this is heightened by Saturn (Aquarius’ ruling planet) having just entered Aries too; not only does it add to the restlessness, but it also leaves Saturn without the resources she prefers to get things done.

So, we’re all left with feeling like we need something to change, but a little lost as to how to do so and with what.

Emphasis on the “we” and the “all.” You’re not alone. We’re entering a new chapter with this eclipse, and the stories that unfold for the next year and a half (when the eclipses will be in Aquarius and Leo) will have their introductory scenes play out in the next few weeks.

Eclipse season is unpredictable and potent. Which can be exciting! But it can also be terrifyingly different. In my lifetime, the world has never looked more unstable and uncertain, tbh. But because of that, in many ways, this time period feels incredibly fertile. Now, I’m not suggesting throwing all caution to the wind and being reckless. What I am saying, though, is to be aware of what’s happening around you and what kind of major changes could occur if you felt supported and emboldened.

(And to look around and see where you can seek support and provide it for others. Again, emphasis on the “we” and the “all.”)

To help you make more sense of what to look out for in the weeks to come, I’ve pulled some cards from my “Refract and Reflect Oracle” (which you can purchase here!).

As always, it’s best to read for your rising sign if you know it, but if not, look to your Sun, Moon, and any big personal placements.

Aries: witch

Please take this to heart: there are people who will absolutely love your “weird,” whatever that may be. Whatever hyperfixation or niche hobby you have, there’s someone else (many someones!) who are also into it! This is not the time to quash the part of you that gets excited about stuff. This is a time to nurture it. Now, you don’t have to proclaim your very niche interest to everyone you meet (you can keep whatever you love close to the vest), but please know you can find a community that will support you, you just have to be open to the possibilities.

Taurus: aim true

This eclipse season, know what you want, especially by way of work. How do you want to be seen and received? How do you want to be credited? How do you want your work to be remembered? Or, what kind of work do you want to be leaving behind (either in the weeks ahead or years down the line)? If there’s some type of training you’re interested in, go deeper and learn more about it.

Gemini: visioneering

It’s time to expand your comfort zone. Look beyond your usual haunts and let the world surprise you. This could be as simple as walking down a new path in your neighborhood or watching a documentary on something that’s totally new to you. Or, you can let your subconscious surprise you. Pay attention to your dreams or do some type of journeying meditation. There’s also trāṭaka!

Cancer: masks

If you’ve been yearning for more intimacy in your life, you’ll need to be more vulnerable yourself. This eclipse, examine what kind of masks you may be keeping up that could be keeping people at a distance. It may not even be super evident. It could be a subtle as a tendency to ask more questions of the other person before they can ask questions about you. Seeking therapy right now can be incredibly enlightening for you.

Leo: rituals

When you repeat something time after time, you strengthen its presence in your life. This is true for both beneficial and detrimental habits. This is also true for activities and behaviors with others. If there’s anything you want more or less of, this period is ripe for massive change. For example, if you want to alter the dynamics with someone in your life, be intentional about how you speak with them or make specific plans with them. You can amplify this by ritualizing things, which can be as elaborate a wearing certain clothing or an accessory or as simple as saying aloud, under your breath, “I’m choosing to engage with sincerity/vulnerability/guardedness/etc.”

Virgo: guardians

What is your relationship with asking for help? Do you have someone you can rely on? A mentor? A trusted friend? If you’re struggling with something, especially by way of work or your mundane daily routine, don’t be afraid to ask for help. If that feels like too big of an ask right now, what about venting? There are people (and friendly spirits!) around you willing to give you a place to land, if you allow yourself to lean on them.

Libra: revelations

Eclipses are often a time of unveiling, and this one may be especially true for you, Libra. Perhaps something’s been brewing for a while that you end up getting confirmation about. Or you may discover something abruptly. Either way, something big will be uncovered. This could likely affect your approach to pleasure and creativity, or you may find yourself seeking more of that as a balm. Alternatively, diving into a hobby or new works of art could lead to something revelatory.

Scorpio: conflict

If things get prickly in the next few days and weeks, remember: you have a choice not to engage. You have a choice to disengage even if you start getting into it. That being said, conflict can be productive, so long as you know what your values are and what you’re fighting for. And if you realize you don’t really have a strong grip on those, you can use this as an opportunity to better understand and address your needs.

Sagittarius: influence

None of us are immune from being influenced. Or from being affected by things, especially when it comes to what we encounter on the daily. For the next few days, really be mindful of how you spend your time, what you read, what you watch, and who you listen to. Whose voice speaks to you when you’re making a decision or even just stating an opinion? If you find yourself repeating the words of others, consider establishing some intentional quiet time, away from the noise of the world. I want you to hear the melody of your own songs again.

Capricorn: bold moves

Now, I know I said that the unpredictability of an eclipse means it’s not really the time to be reckless, but I also said that right now is very fertile. Furthermore, a “bold move” can be a risky decision that unfolds slowly. Speed isn’t the only qualifier! As a Saturn-ruled sign, you’re no stranger to the beauty that time reveals. So, this action could be as big as opening up a new high-yield savings account strictly dedicated to a big dream that you have. Or, it could look like changing your daily makeup. Or, it could be arranging a regular brainstorming meeting with a trusted friend and sticking with it for the next year.

Aquarius: sacred space

This solar eclipse could reveal things that radically change your trajectory in life, but how many things in your current situation could facilitate it? The easiest thing you can do is to tackle the tangible: clean up around the house. Get rid of the clutter, change the sheets, dust off the bookshelves. Does the furniture arrangement make it easy to do whatever activities you actually need and want to do? Your body is also another form of a sacred space, so don’t forget about what you eat and reassess the refrigerator and pantry. As the sign of the water-bearer, consider your water intake as well.

Pisces: anchor

What’s past may be present this solar eclipse, and it behooves you, dear Pisces, to tap into that natural penchant for nostalgia right now. What memories make you feel connected to your people and your values? Who makes you feel safe and capable of anything? What activities help fuel you to keep going? The past holds a lot of answers to whatever you’re trying to achieve or find right now, you just have to be willing to examine them.

I won’t lie, these upcoming eclipses kinda scare me haha. But there are still things in our power. We still have our agency. We still have each other. We can get through this unprecedented time. God knows we’ve done it for the past five years, ya know?

I published a deck of oracle cards AND one of affirmations! You can buy both now!
